Originally from Moscow, Ilya has lived in Manhattan for over 20 years. During that time, he has covered every inch of the city, learning the construction industry from the ground up. With over a decade of experience, Ilya has worked hard as a Business Development Executive to reach the upper levels of New York City's construction industry. Based on that industry foundation, Ilya established the Construction Guide. in 2018 in NYC and since 2019 expanded to Miami Market.
He has initiated projects totaling more than $750,000,000 and executed more than $450,000,000 in projects located mainly in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Hamptons and Miami Beach FL. This includes doubling and tripling the gross sales of a number of construction firms along the way. Ilya studied Law and Criminal Justice at Modern Humanitarian University in Moscow. Before working as a business development executive, Ilya also obtained an A.D. in Business Management from Baruch College in New York City in 2007.
In 2009, he was certified in both Home Improvement and Real Estate Salesperson licenses from New York State, with focuses on Nationwide Development and Income-Producing Commercial Real Estate.
Ilya is extremely passionate about construction industry, and always keeps one guiding principle in mind: deliver what was promised.
Yuriy joined Construction Guide in the fall of 2018 bringing a broad base of experience to the team. With a background in entrepreneurial ventures, Manhattan real estate development, management, and finance, Yuriy has been sure to provide a deep analytical skill to any construction project.
Born in Russia and raised in Brooklyn NY, Yuriy has a strong passion for the construction industry and operations of the real estate market. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a B.A in Economic Analysis and a CFA candidate who has successfully completed Level 1 of the certification and is currently pursuing Level 2.
Yuriy now serves as COO of NYC market. His business background and deep knowledge of the Brooklyn market paired with his strong desire for client satisfaction has paralleled his success record thus far.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and currently residing in Hampton Bays, NY; Michael Thaler graduated SUNY Binghamton in 1987 with a B.S. in Accounting. In September of 1988, Michael joined the team at Astroline Inc., at the time the second largest private oil trading company in America, where he was a Clerk for the New York Mercantile Stock Exchange Futures and Options and managed their clearinghouse.
In 1990, Michael established TLR Energy as a Natural Gas and Crude Oil trading and brokerage firm, where he had a positive influence on the success and progress of the Natural Gas Trading in the U.S. His portfolio of clients included New York City based Hotel Groups and Multifamily Property Management companies.
While at TLR Energy Michael traded approximately $138 MM annually, equating to over $6.9 billion in Energy assets. Michael has also been the acting President of TLR and has grown the consulting business to over 1,000,000 MGW signed with 20% year/year growth with clients spanning 12 states and international countries over his 17-year career.
With today's technology providing efficient and instant market price data, Michael knows that exceptional brokering is about solving logistics and supreme client service, which are the standards he has established for TLR Energy and seeks to bring to Construction Guide, for the Hampton’s market.
Michael believes that all successful projects start in the design and development stage requiring the element of trust and integrity. Michael spends countless hours with clients, architects, and consultants, making sure that all of the client’s goals and needs are met with the best possible alternatives chosen.
A born and bred New Yorker Luke joined Construction Guide team in the spring of 2018 coming from No. 59 where he headed up Integrated Brand Marketing for this brand strategy and design agency. Prior to No. 59, Luke was at Laird+Partners and before that, he spent 3 years at Condé Nast (CN Media Group) where he held a number of different roles before working with the Head of Branding for DETAILS Magazine in 2013. His experience spans a wide range of industry sectors including luxury, fashion, liquor & beverages, construction, hospitality, consumer technology and music publishing.
Luke holds a dual degree in Communications Media and Photography from Fordham University in New York City and postgraduate qualifications in from the London School of Economics in London.
Hailing from Odessa, Ukraine, Vitaly Rozman joined the Construction Guide Team in Spring of 2018 as a Technical Advisor. Vitaly comes from an international professional background with a deep understanding of Global digital markets.
Vitaly brings his unique talents and ability to Construction Guide; his experiences include work with major U.S. and E.E. companies such as AOL and Group Nine Media where he served as a Software Engineer. Additionally, Vitaly brings an invaluable entrepreneurial mindset to the CG team through his experience as a founding partner of a Global Platform - Mechanic and applying that knowledge, to develop our project.
He successfully obtained a Bachelor and Master Degree in Applied Mathematics from the National Polytechnical University, Odessa, Ukraine.
