Waterline Square Park’s Completion Recently Announced

Waterline Square Park was recently completed as the final stage in the multi-building development. The development consists of three buildings designed by separate architectural firms: Richard Meier & Partners, Kohn Pedersen Fox, and Rafael Vinoly, with Groves & Co. Hill West Architects as the executive for the plan.

The whole thing is capped off by the 2.6-acre park that surrounds the three buildings. Designed by MNLA, the park contains large lawns, more than 200 trees, large garden beds, a playground, and plenty of seating. The trees are concentrated around the western half of the park to help absorb emissions and reduce noise pollution.

This has been an exciting development to follow from start to finish, and we have been very interested in the unique decision to use three different firms for the buildings designs. We at Construction Guide are impressed with how this project turned out and we welcome its addition to Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
